Lighting glitch with ENB and DVLaSS (SSE)

After several days of debugging I've finally narrowed down a lighting glitch when using DVLaSS (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/44483) with an ENB when DetailedShadows are turned on in the ENB. DVLaSS is becoming a very popular mod for Skyrim Special Edition, so others will probably start reporting this too. I asked another user to test this and he experienced the same glitch. Below is a video of the problem. This is 100% reproducible in both first person and third person.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8naGBHVyB4

To reproduce this:
1. Install DVLaSS.
2. Install and activate an ENB. I tested this under Rudy ENB and also Re-engaged ENB, and both had this problem, so I assume it happens for other presets as well.
3. Make sure DetailedShadows in the ENB are turned on.
4. Go to Whiterun. This glitch happens in all areas, in the wilderness and in other cities, but for the sake of this test you should go to Whiterun. Also it is very noticeable there.
5. Wait till it's between 5 and 6 PM. It is most noticeable then, but also occurs between 6 and 8 PM.
6. Go to the Bannered Mare and move forward and backward in the same places as shown in the video. This glitch only happens when facing EAST (with the sun at your back).

That mod looks interesting, definitely going to check it out especially now that ENBSeries is compatible with it. Thanks for the heads-up.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
I didn't want to disturb you, Boris, because I know you are busy with more important matters, but if I use fFirstSliceDistance = 2000.0000 (Skyrim.ini, Display section) it's still the same as it was (the first part of the video):

Falkreath, 6.40am, 10e1ec weather

And a second problem with DVLaSS. In the woods near Shor's Stone, 8 a.m. Strong directional light, it doesn't hit the wolf, trees or the character directly because they are in the shadow, but it affects subsurface scattering effect for objects and vegetation.

Game sss was never occluded by shadow, so not my problem. About this mod after your distance tweak, basically i have to restore whole shadow code and remove bias tweaks to fix that thing. So people will complain me again that older versions looks better. Oh well, will do anyway.
